  • Encourage each other because we’re all here to grow as animators

The more we talk and engage with each other’s work, the better we all get. That’s what this community is all about. :raising_hands:

Hey All, quick reminder, that the competition is ending in a couple of days and we SUPER HYPE to see what you have created for the past month. Speak soon

Hello!

Hope You are well!! My name is Mara and this is my little entry into Pokemon AnimChallenge - it was truly a fun and refreshing couple of days crafting this one out! Wanted to convey Surskit’s playful and cheeky personality from the anime series and what better way than making it gracefully smash the camera with a Pokeball! Hope You like it!

Posting two videos, one with all the edits and the other raw playblast straight from Maya to see the animation itself a tad better.

Hey Mara

This looks fantastic, thanks so much for the submission. Really creative and I also really like the rendering with the broken glass.

Best of Luck

Hello everyone! I’m Diego, and I really enjoyed creating this shot. I’d love to see all the submissions from the other participants.

i worked in a mix work flow, doing the key posses while working in a layered workflow to create the inbetweens. In the end the key posses change a little bit but it help me to feel the flow between the poses. Because the character is floating, I worked in FK for the legs. It was challenging to animate a floating character while avoiding the floating feeling we didn’t like. my intention was convey the magnificent aura and power of mewtwo.

Thanks to AnimWorks for this animation challenge, and to Emiliano Serrano for this great rig.

Here is my entry for the challenge, I hope you like it!
